We first met in 1974 and quickly discovered a mutual love for exploring the great outdoors. Over the years, we’ve hiked, canoed and backpacked through the Adirondaks, Isle Royal, Canadian Rockies, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Smokey Mountains, Alaska, and Hawaii.
A dream developed: To someday live in a log home where we could step out our back door and hike, snowshoe, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. As our travels broadened, we became blessed with our greatest adventure of all: The chance to raise three phenomenal children who brought more joy than either of us could ever imagine. Each child brought their own magic and added a new dimension to our outdoor adventures.
